“Hello, I’m Kathryn. I’m a parent of a 20-year-old son who graduated from New Life House. And I am so grateful for the recovery program at New Life House. Especially because of its involvement of parents and how I began to trust the program and learn about myself and the role that I, as a parent, played and some of the dysfunction we had in our home and therefore could also play a role in the recovery that we enjoyed. The parent meetings that were on the weekends really helped me see my role and some things and helped us, my son and I, grow closer together. And we learned and grew together every step of the way, and it just made all the difference. And I’m so grateful to New Life House. We, together, live a life of joy and feel a part of the New Life House community.”
