Clinical Support Through Clear Behavioral Health
We work with our sister company, Clear Behavioral Health, to provide a comprehensive continuum of care.
Detoxing from alcohol
Detoxing is the first step to beginning a recovery journey, especially before entering a sober living program. In a safe, medical environment, you will be professionally supervised through your detox and alcohol withdrawal symptoms to rid your body of alcohol. Once this stage is complete, you can focus on your recovery without the intense withdrawal symptoms.
Alcohol rehab and treatment programs
You’ll begin at Clear’s alcohol detox to ease withdrawal symptoms, then move into the residential rehab program to develop life and coping skills and a relapse prevention plan, while attending individual, group, and holistic therapy and accessing medication support, if needed. Once you complete the residential rehab program, you will seamlessly transfer over to New Life House’s sober living program for long-term and structured recovery.
Psychiatric Services via Neuro Wellness Spa
Mental health plays a major role in substance use, which is why effective treatment must address underlying mental health issues. Through our partnership with Neuro Wellness Spa, you have ongoing access to mental health care—whether you’re currently in our program or have already completed it.
We know that managing your mental health is key to long-term sobriety. While at New Life House, you’ll meet with a psychiatrist for medication management and therapeutic services tailored to support your recovery.

What is alcohol addiction?
Alcohol addiction, or alcohol use disorder (AUD), is a medical condition in which a person has an impaired ability to stop or control alcohol use, even when it causes problems at work, in relationships, or to their health. Over time, as you continue to consume alcohol, it affects both the brain and body, potentially leading to serious and lasting health issues.
Signs and symptoms of alcohol use disorder
If you believe you, or someone you love, might be battling alcohol dependence, you can look for a few physical and behavioral signs that might confirm this. Drinking alone frequently, consistently blacking out, and having had multiple failed attempts to quit, are all common indicators of alcohol addiction.

Physical symptoms of alcohol addiction include:
- Frequent hangovers from alcohol withdrawal, including headaches, nausea, and fatigue
- Shaking or tremors
- Sweating, unrelated to temperature or physical activity
- Bloodshot eyes
- Weight changes
- Slurred speech, clumsiness
- Increased heart rate or high blood pressure
- Unexplained injuries or bruising from falling over or accidents
Some behavioral signs of alcohol abuse to look for are:
- Being unable to limit how much you drink
- Spending most of your time drinking alcohol, getting alcohol, or recovering from its effects
- Having a strong urge or craving for a drink
- Neglecting work, school, or home responsibilities due to drinking
- Developing a tolerance, needing to drink more alcohol each time to feel the same effects
- Giving up hobbies or social activities in favor of drinking alcohol
- Choosing to only attend events where alcohol is available
