Hi, I’m Dana and I have a 21-year-old son who is a graduate of New Life House. If you would’ve told me just over a couple of years ago that I would be sitting here today, sharing our family’s story of recovery, I don’t know if I could have dared to imagine it. I had spent an excruciating couple of years searching for meaningful help and only to hit dead ends. And it just left me feeling even more lost and alone. And then we found New Life House.
Today, our son is thriving. He is happy, productive, he is responsible for his own life and he is part a vibrant community who is committed to sobriety. I am eternally grateful to New Life House and for their wisdom and their insight that led us every step of the way through the recovery process.
They’ve created a framework where the uncomfortable work of self-reflection and self-awareness gets done. And they take the time to really drill down. And that is where the change begins. I’ve seen it up close and personal because New Life House is definitely a family affair.
So, thank you to New Life House for giving us our family back and thank you to the entire New Life House community for giving us a new family.
